On this Mother's Day, enjoying our Covid-19 social distancing at our cabin, we are thinking of Mary and the kind of mother she has been! Many times Katie was with our family up here at our cabin at Shaver Lake. She was like part of the family and fit right in! We remember that Mary packed some new articles of clothing to surprise Katie and also there was a sweet, hand-written note for her to open each evening...just in case she might be feeling a little homesick. With 7 kids, she still found the love and the time to be there for each child, in the unique way each needed her. We have enjoyed Mary and her wonderful family for 41 years. She will be missed!
